Italian Birth Name: Antionino Di Dia
American name: Tony Dee
Bury name: Antionino Dee

Antonino Di Dia aka Tony Dee immigrated to the U.S. on October 26th, 1912, on the S.S. Guglielmo ship. He came some 9 years after his brothers Giacomo Di Dia aka Chris Dee and Vincenzo Di Dia aka James Dee. When he arrived he went to Sanudsky, Ohio and lived their with his brothers family Vincenzo Di Dia aka James Dee. It's not sure how or why both Giacomo and Antonino made the move to the Tennessee area. But I do know that Giacomo and Antonino also had a cousin James Dee son of Giacomo Di Dia 1855-???? and Maria Marrone 1859-????, who also went to Sandusky and then onto Chattanooga, Tennessee. Both brothers married American women from the Tennessee area, they both moved from one place to another. I have located records that they both lived and work in San Diego, California. When they made the move back to Tennessee is unknown. Antonino finally settled in Knowville, TN with his wife Hazel Bell. They had a total of 5 kids, Toney Dee, John Dee, Mary E. Dee, John Richard Dee of San Jose, CA, and Marcella Dee of Knoxville, TN. It had been relay to me that Antonino Di Dia died from a botch surgery for being treated for stomach issues. He had gotten gagrene from the surgery and lived only 6 weeks.
