WINDER – Darlee Haymon, 85, died Monday, February 7, 2011.

Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Kemper and Lela Hampton Wilson. She attended Whistleville Christian Church and was retired from Winder-Barrow Hospital. Mrs. Haymon was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Haymon; and a daughter, Kathy Haymon.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Gandy Haymon, Snellville; grandchildren, John Haymon, Bethany H. Jackson and Sarah Haymon; half brother, Kemp Wilson, Winston Salem, N.C.; and a half sister, Yvetta Stafford, Kernersville, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Linwood Smith, Ray Fumea and Ray K. Fumea officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, February 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Whistleville Christian Church Building Fund, 83 Patrick Mill Rd., S.W., Winder, GA 30680.
