SP4 Keith Daniel Holmes, 20, formerly of McCurtain County, Oklahoma, was killed Sunday, December 20, at a US Army Base Camp in the Republic of Vietnam.
He was a son of Mrs. Ada Holmes of Bogata, Tex., and the late Alpha Holmes, former residents of Idabel.
Also surviving are one brother, SP5 Kenneth P. Holmes, of San Antonio, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Stroope of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ollie Lee of Paris, Tex.; an uncle, John L. Holmes of Idabel; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be under the direction of a Bogata, Tex., funeral home and are pending notification from the Army on return of the body to the states for burial. Flowers may be sent to Bogata Funeral Home.
