JANESVILLE / BOSCOBEL – Clifford A. "Tip" Anderson, age 79, of Boscobel, formally of Janesville, passed away on Monday, November 15, 1999 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel after a brief illness. He was born on June 15, 1920 in Hickory Grove Township, Grant County, Wisconsin, the son of Carl and Alma (Olson) Anderson. He married Dorothy (Payne) Kovars on January 14, 1978 in Janesville. She preceded him in death on October 22, 1993. He is survived by a brother, LeRoy (Elaine) Anderson of Blue River; two sisters, Alice (John) Dale of Boscobel, and Rubby Chitwood of Blue River; two step daughters, Kathi Poff of Beloit, and Judy Kovars of Janesville; two step grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Keith Chitwood; and a niece, Suzie Chitwood Kent. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. LUTHERAN CHURCH located at 208 Mary Street in Boscobel with Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial will be in the Homer Cemetery in rural Boscobel. Friends may call on Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be given to the Tuffley Center Computer fund.
