He Received a Masters in Business from ENMU and served 21 years as a Pilot for the US Air Force retiring from Cannon AFB in 1970.
He was a member of Sacred Heart, Executive Club, Order of Daedalians, NRA, life member of MOAA, Sabre Pilots Association, and Super Sabre Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathren (Fitzgerald) and Patrick Vincent Loftus; and a brother, James Michael Loftus.
Marty is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Mark) Hodin of Buffalo, NY, and Michelle (Paul) Collins of Billings, MT; a son, Michael (Jeanne) Loftus of Sacramento, CA; and six grandchildren: Riley Hodin, Max Hodin, Shane Foxx, Tarah Foxx, Ian Fitzgerald Collins, and Benjamin Collins.
Marty donated his body to science. A name plate has been placed in the veteran's garden of Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM. 1601 E. Llano Estacado Blvd., Clovis, NM 88101
