BLOOMINGTON — Lotus Albert Minnick, 85, of Bloomington, died Friday at Hospitality House.

Born Nov. 19, 1915, in Gosport, he was the son of Fletcher and Corda (Martin) Minnick.

He was a truck driver for Ralph Rogers, Inc. for 29 years.

Survivors include his wife, Annetta (Lowery) Minnick of Bloomington; two sons, Thomas A. Minnick of Cincinnati, Ohio and Steven W. Minnick of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Christina "Tina" Smith of Spencer and Sandra Gardner of Bloomington; one brother, Herbert Minnick of Bloomington; two sons-in-law, Philip Gardner of Bloomington and Randy Smith of Spencer; one daughter-in-law, Mary Minnick of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarance Minnick; one sister, Ethel Correll; and one granddaughter, Tammy Hodge.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold D. Carter officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
