Found in The State 22 May 1940: Allen Monroe Burnham, 58, died at 6:40 last night at his home at 3312 Abingdon road, Eau Claire, after an illness of several months. Mr. Burnham, a plumber, had lived here since 1923. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellis (Fulmer) Burnham; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Minter of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Thomas Currie of Kansas City, Mo., and three brothers, Roy Turnham of Kansas City, Mo.; Joseph Turnham of Berryville, Ark., and Charles Turnham of Uba City, Calif. Mr. Burnham was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran church. He held a membership in the Plumbers' union here. The funeral will be conducted at 5:30 this afternoon from Mount Olivet Lutheran church at Spring Hill, conducted by the Dr. Charles E. Fritz, pastor of Ebenezer church, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Moose, pastor of Mount Olivet. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet churchyard.
