PAYNE, Megan Marie "Fighter", 24, of Louisville, went Home to live with her Savior on June 17, 2011, after a valiant battle with Cystic Fibrosis and a double lung transplant; exactly 24 years after her grandfather, David T. Owens went Home. Megan is survived by her parents, Caleb and Margaret Owens Payne; sisters, Rachel and Olivia Payne; maternal grandmother, Frances Manning Owens; paternal grandparents, Jack and Marjorie Payne; her dog, Pyrate as well as a multitude of family and friends. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 – 8 P.M. Saturday and 2 – 8 P.M. Sunday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in her memory.
