C. Arthur Powell, 78, of Kingfisher, OK, formerly of Troy Mills, died Dec 6, 1988 in Kingfisher Hospital of a heart attack. Born Sep 14, 1910, near Troy Mills, he married Blanch Jech Aug 3, 1943. Mr Powell was semi-retired from farming and a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Arlene Duffy of Stillwater, OK; a son, Arthur of Germany; 3 brothers, Harlin of Central City, Wilbur of Rowley and Elzo of Marion; and 3 sisters, Vera McGuire of Troy Mills, and Eva Blin and Helen Kelso both of Cedar Rapids. Services were held Friday in First Christian Church, Kingfisher. Burial: Kingfisher Cem. A memorial fund has been established.
