Burial of John D. Aldridge, 82, of Kilgore, former Red River County resident was at Wednesday 2pm at Manchester, Clarksville Funeral Home having charge. The Rev. Hassell Johnston, Avery Baptist pastor, conducted graveside sites.
Mr. Aldridge, a retired farmer who lived in Red River County 50 years died Monday at 11:30 pm in Gregg Memorial Hospital in Longview. He was born in Arkansas in August 31, 1871 and was a member of the Church of Christ. His late wife was formerly Miss Lodie Covington. Survivors are these children: Clifton Aldridge, Manchester; Mrs. Walter (Willie Lucille) Haskins, Kilgore; Mrs. Lillian Chapman, Mineral Wells; and Mrs. Mike (Vera M.) Weaver, Clarksville; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
