GRAHAM-DUFF
EAST DERBY GIRL BRIDE OF CALGARY MAN--WILL LIVE IN THE WEST
The marriage of Miss Marion Collison Duff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Duff, 316 Derby Avenue, and Guy Greenshields Graham, of Okotoks, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, son of Mrs. Catherine Graham, took place Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents with Rev. Worthy F. Maylott, minister of the First Congregational Church, performing the ceremony in the presence of the immediate members of the families and friends of the contracting party.
The bride was becomingly dressed in a wedding gown of white silk tricollete with opalescent and lace trimmings, while her bridal bouquet was white bride roses. Miss Dagmar Waiff was the bridesmaid and wore a pretty dress of blue silk voile and carried a bouquet of pink snap-dragon, and the best man was Robert H. Duff. During the ceremony Miss Christine Duff, a sister of the bride sang with feeling, "I Love You Truly," by Carrie Jacobs Bond and the wedding march was played by Miss Marie Therkildsen, who was presented with a gold pin set with a sapphire as a gift from the bride, while the bride's gift to her maid was a pin set in turquois and pearls, forget-me-not fashion. The groom's gift to his bride was a gold wrist watch. The home was decorated with palms, pink and white roses, and the bridal party stood beneath an arch of palms where the ceremony was performed.
A buffet luncheon was served to the members of the wedding party at the home of the bride and later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Graham left on an unannounced wedding journey, which will take them through the Canadian Rockies and on their return they will reside at Okotoks, Calgary, where the bridegroom has provided a pretty home for his bride. They will be at home about August 1, and the bride's going away gown was blue faille silk with hat to match.
