F. W. Paul Brunig died Saturday at his home on Seventh avenue, Atlantic Highlands, after a long illness. He was born in Germany 75 years ago and came to this country 57 years ago. For the past 45 years he had been a resident of Atlantic Highlands. Mr. Brunig took an active part in civic affairs in that community and at one time was a director of the Atlantic Highlands Casino. He was a retired auditor. A number of years ago he was interested in real estate developments on Long Island.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mable Montanye Brunig, and a son, Donald Brunig, who lives in New York state. Another son, Paul Brunig, was killed in action in the World war.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home, with Rev. Charles P. Johnson, rector of All Saints church, officating. Burial was in All Saints cemetery by A. M. Posten & sons.

The bearers were Charles Mount, Edward Jagger, Arthur Mickens and Waldron P. Smith.
