James Seward Gelatt, Jr.
James Seward Gelatt, Jr., 54, of La Crosse, died on Thursday, May 22nd, 1997, in his home.
He was born on September 28th, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to James S. and Beatrice (Woodworth) Gelatt Sr. James was a 1960 graduate of La Crosse Central High School. He married Gretchen Derksen in Waupun, Wis., in 1964 and they later divorced. He had worked at Northern Engraving Corporation for the past 12 years.
He is survived by three sons, James S. Gelatt III of Frisco, Colorado, William M. Gelatt of Park City, Utah, and Andrew H. Gelatt of Madison, Wis., and one uncle, Charles D. (Sue) Gelatt of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 27th, 1997, at 10 a.m. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. The Rev. Jeffery K. Buikema will officiate.
Memorials may be given to the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation.
