Wayne was born May 3, 1942 in Jasper, Alabama to Mitchel James and Sylvia Jane (Watson) Aaron. On May 5, 1973 in Michigan City, IN he married Leah Ann Forrest. Wayne was a truck driver having worked with Quality Carriers of Ludington, MI for the past 20 years. He was and avid hunter and fisherman, he loved people and knew no strangers. Wayne's greatest love was for his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Leah; his two sons, Shane Edward (Carrie Lee) Aaron of Knox, IN, and Jerry Martin (Brenda) Aaron of Chesterton, IN; two grandchildren, Kara Jean Aaron and Kameron Wayne Aaron; two brothers, Edward (Lynn) Aaron of Chesterton, IN and Larry (Pam) Aaron of South Bend, IN; a sister, Patricia (Jim) Powell of Valparaiso, IN; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Lee Forrest and Eugene Forrest. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents-Mitchel and Sylvia Aaron, a brother-Martin, and a sister-Francis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 4, 11:00 AM, at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, with Rev. Damien Lake officiating.
