Moved from birthplace to Pottstown, Montgomery Co, Pennsylvania shortly after birth until about 1923; Sgt in the 315th field hospital in WW I, part of the 79th infantry division; yardmaster, etc. for Reading RR for over 40 years; was living in Norristown borough, Montgomery Co, Pennsylvania 1923 - 1970; in his own home there in 1930, complete with a radio and telephone; Member of the Masonic order of Knights Templar in the York rite.
