Donna E. Furlon
GREENFIELD -- Donna E. (McConkey) Furlon, 88, formerly of 384 Davis St, died Thursday, November 11 at Poet Seat Nursing Home.
She was born in Montpelier, Indiana on August 12, 1916 the daughter of Harvey and Clara (Chandler) McConkey. She grew up and graduated from high school in Indiana.
Donna and her husband, William C. Furlon, moved to Greenfield in the early 1950s. Mr. Furlon predeceased Donna on April 23 of this year.
Mrs. Furlon was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenfield.
Survivors include two half brothers, Ray Barner of Fort Wayne, IN, Lee Barner of Los Crusos, NM, a sister, Dortha Yost, also of Fort Wayne, two nieces and a nephew.
A graveside service will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Village Cemetery in Readsboro, Vermont.
There are no calling hours.
