Eunice Lynette Nazworth Rogers, age 84, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Big Bend Hospice House, Tallahassee, FL. She was born on November 3, 1926, in Cairo, GA. During her lifetime, she was active with her church families, most recently with the First Baptist Church of Havana, FL and Celebration Baptist Church of Tallahassee, FL.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Evelyn R. Wester, husband George Wester, of Leesburg, GA and her sister, Nell Ball, husband Wayne Ball, of Tallahassee, FL. She had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews living in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Maine.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar A. Rogers, Sr., step-son, Edgar A. Rogers, Jr., and step-daughter, Charlotte Styron, her parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Brother Eric Erskine of the First Baptist Church in Havana will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA.
