Jewell was the daughter of Elizabeth Lawson/Losson and Pleasant Henry Miller but was raised as the daughter of Elizabeth Lawson/Losson and Christopher Curtis Simpson.

I don't think she was ever married to the fathers of her first 2 children. Her daughter Jenny verified this as well.

Married James Campbell 12.10.1946 Arkansas and had the following children:
Jenny Marie, Jimmy Glen, and Roy Lynn
She also had a baby girl that died but I don't know who the father was. Sons Jimmy & Roy Campbell remember the baby being a girl. I have no other information on the baby.
