Marie Pearson lived in Fremont and the vicinity for many years and died in her home after an illness of about two weeks at the age of 78. She had been in poor health for several weeks.

Mrs. Pearson, who's maiden name was Clamos Belile, was born in St. Mary's, Canada in February 1852. She came with her parents to Muskegon, where she married Joseph Pearson, November 09, 1876. About the year 1880, they came to Fremont and settled on a farm five miles north of Fremont but for the past 20 years, they have lived in this city.

Mrs. Pearson was survived by her husband Joseph, three sons, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, and three brothers.
