Mrs. Bella Basinger, 57 years old, died this morning at the home of her son-in-law, Frank Martin, in Gibson ave., South Connellsville. The deceased had been in poor health for about two years but was able to be about until pneumonia developed. The deceased was the widow of Joseph Basinger who was killed in a Pennsylvania railroad accident several years ago. She was born and raised in Bullskin township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Caldwell. Two children, Mrs. Frank Martin and Mrs. Charles Bryerly of South Connellsville, three brothers, James of Connellsville, John of Bullskin township, and Thomas of Saltlick township, and one sister Mrs. Anna Laws, Springfield township, survive.
