The parents of Isaac Senseney were Dr. John Senseney and his wife Mary.

Isaac and his wife, also named Mary, were the parents of five children, most or all born in Lancaster Co. PA:
Mary Senseney (b. before 1790)
-- wife of Jacob Cook
Catharine Senseney (b. 1785-1789),
--wife of George Washington Magee
Elizabeth Senseney (1792-1866)
--wife of George Winter
Isaac Senseney (b. 1790-1800)
John Senseney (b. 1790-1800)

Isaac, his wife and children, and his parents moved from Lancaster Co. PA to Frederick Co. MD sometime between 1790 and 1800.

On October 1, 1965 an article appeared in The Gettysburg Times entitled "A Bit of History About Early Settlers, The Senseney Family and Its Burial Ground" by B.F.M. MacPherson.
The article states: Isaac Senseney is buried in the family burial ground on his father's farm, and his grave is marked by a black slatestone upon which the following inscription was cut: "In memory of Isaac Senseney, Died October 1804, Aged 38 years." Note: Isaac Senseney died comparatively young and...his wife, Mary Senseney, survived him for many years. When she died she was interred beside him but her grave was not marked.

Before 1837 the Senseney farm and its cemetery were located in Union Bridge, Frederick Co. MD. In 1837 this area became part of Carroll Co. MD.

Sometime after 1965, all of the locatable gravestones at the Senseney Family Cemetery were moved to Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Union Bridge, Carroll Co. MD, including the gravestone of Isaac. However, the remains of the deceased are still in the ground at the original location. Gravestones for Isaac's father Dr. John Senseney, his mother Mary and his wife Mary can't be found. See: Senseney Family Cemetery.
