Fond du Lac Reporter, Wed. June 16, 1999, p. B6, c. 1. Olga K. Bleuel, 94, of 222 Rose Ave., died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at the St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born Oct. 6, 1904, the daughter of Mathias and Margaret Andrew Guelig. On June 16, 1930, she married Ben A. Bleuel at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mt. Calvary. Mrs. Bleuel was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, its Altar Society, the Daughters of Isabella and the Foresters. Survivors include her two sons, Howard S. Bleuel of Fond du Lac and Calvin A. Bleuel and his wife Pat of Merrill; one daughter, Marge Krug of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Kim Wilke of Merrill, John S. Bleuel and his wife Linda of Seneca, S.C., Katherine Carter and her husband Kevin of Green Bay, and Barbara Gagne and her husband Marc of Madison; two great-grandchildren, Melissa and Eric Wilke of Merrill; one sister-in-law, Catherine Guelig of Mt. Calvary; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben on Sept. 27, 1975; her parents; one son-in-law, Bud Krug; one daughter-in-law, Jane Bleuel; three sisters and five brothers. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Victor Capriolo will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of services Thursday at the church. Memorials in her name may be directed to St. Mary’s Springs High School or St. Agnes Hospice Hope. Zacherl Funeral Home is serving the family.
