Ben F. Regnier
Age 79, 133 Colton Blvd., died at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dec. 24, of a stroke. He was born April 1, 1892 in Goodrich, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Regnier. The family moved to Snyder, Indiana, where he was raised and educated. Upon graduation, he was employed by the New York Central Railroad.
He was married to Lessie Branstetter in Morroco, Indiana, Nov. 14, 1910. They moved to Laurel in 1912, where he was employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad.
In 1923 they moved to Lockwood Flats where he farmed until 1941 when he became part owner of the Mile - Away Cafe. Regnier retired in 1957.
He is survived by his widow, Lessie,
three daughters,
Mrs. Helen Bruce of Thermopolis, Wyo.,
Mrs. George Seiffert of 2 MacArthur Pl.,
and Mrs. Paul Vincelette of 2314 Miles Ave.
One son,
Donald B. Regnier of 608 N. 15th St.,
nine grandchildren,
19 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Patrick's parish.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Michelotte - Sawyer Mortuary.
Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery.
