Corporal Harmon was a camera repair man with the 'Mighty 8th' US Army Air Force based in Suffolk, England during WWII. Bomber crews often carried cameras and sometimes also photographers to documented the war's progress and provide vital intelligence information. Now that those photos have been declassified, we have a record of the dangerous missions our servicemen faced.

Harmon Randell, 83, of Oklahoma City, OK died March 6, 2004 at 3:35 AM. Harmon was born on September 7, 1920 in Gotebo, Oklahoma. He was the son of Houston Alexander and Myrtle Mae Baker who preceded in him in death. Harmon was a buck sergeant who served his country with pride in the Army Air Guard in World War II. Harmon retired from the Tinker Air Force Base. Harmon was a Christian and devoted, husband, father and grandfather. Harmon married Opal O. Dunn on January 24, 1942. Harmon was preceded in death by his brother Dalton and sisters Cloma Mae Dees and Leomah O'Keefe. He is survived by Opal of the home, one daughter, Sherrye Ann of the home and his grandson Jason Randall Green and wife Tori. Harmon is also survived by two grandsons; David Wayne Green and wife Rhonda and Chuck Jennings and wife Crystal; two granddaughters; Jamie Lee Green and Cathy Williams and husband Don; brothers Geoffrey Baker & wife Joyce, Forest Dees Baker & wife Gloria and Lavon Dan Baker & wife Pat; sister Helen Tiffany; brothers in law: Bill O'Keefe and Virgil Dees. Also survived by Opal's sisters; Jackie Blewett, Exnah NewComb; sister in law Dorothy Dunn and brother in law Eddy Littleton as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, good friend Karen Carney and many many friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2004, 2:00 PM at Rancho Village Baptist Church with interment to be held at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
