Lois Dudley Day, 81, of Twin Falls passed away Monday, February 10, 2003, at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.
Lois was born April 21, 1921, in Mapleton, Utah, the daughter of James and Mary Rudolph Dudley. She was raised in Burley attending schools there and graduating from Burley H.S. in 1939. On June 3, 1939, she married Dean Wallace Day in Burley. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple in April of 1952. They moved to Twin Falls in 1943.
Lois worked campaigns at the Amalgamated Sugar factory from 1951 to 1976 when she retired. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had an active role in the Relief Society. She did beautiful crocheting, loved to travel and go camping. Lois loved to make beautiful memories for her family by taking wonderful vacations.
She is survived by her 2 children, JoAnn Bill Morse of Twin Falls and Larry Becky Day of Portland, Oregon; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2003, at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" with Bishop Charles Jensen conducting. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
