Death of a Child
Mrs. Julia Manning left this morning for Henryetta, Okla., in response to a message telling of the death of her niece, Elizabeth Christy, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Christy of that city. The child's death must have been sudden as it was not been known by relatives that she was ill. The body will be brought to Neodesha tomorrow for burial and the funeral will be held Sunday from Mrs. Manning's home, 513 North Tenth street. Although the family never lived here Mrs. Christy has often visited here and has numerous friends.
