Artemisia Gardner Rolls Hurst MacGregor 1921 ~ 2008 Our beautiful, beloved Artemisia was born 7/8/21 in Oak City, Utah to Edward Eugene and Gene Lovell Gardner. She graduated from Delta HS then completed Dental Lab School. Married to Harry E. Rolls with whom she had six children. Artie and Harry were owner/operators of Playtime Swim School in Salt Lake City. She taught swim classes and water ballet. She hosted open plunge and private parties. She was a Boy Scout Leader and she and Harry taught dance for the LDS church. She was a Charter Member of the Eagles Auxilliary. Artie was a wonderful, loving mother, an outstanding cook, an accomplished seamstress and a loyal friend. She enjoyed dance, song, and books. Artie loved gardening and created spectacular gardens. In later years she learned crochette and expanded the craft into an intricate art form. Her greatest gift was writing. Her stories will forever tickle readers by her unique vivid expression. She learned the computer and wrote her stories on it. Artie married Reed Hurst and moved to Boulder City, NV. Married Bruce MacGregor and moved to Henderson, NV. Her last residence was Sacramento, CA. Artie had a deep abiding love for her family who loved and adored her in return. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harry E. Rolls, Reed Hurst, Bruce MacGregor; daughter, Sidney Patricia Howard; son, David T. Rolls; brothers, Edward L., Ronald E., and Lt. David B. Gardner. Survived by daughters, Leslie Robison, Sharon Knowlton, Karen Willis, LeeAnn Rolls; brothers, William, Larry, and John Gardner; and sister, Muriel Hayes; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Artemisia passed gently held in LeeAnn's arms with Sharon close by on 3/8/08 into God's limitless undying love which shines around her like a million suns.
