Clara Fern McCullough, age 87, of Shell Knob, MO., entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She entered this life on December 8, 1923 in Zafra, OK, daughter of the late Irvin Sparks Moore and Mary Moore.
On December 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clay Sanvern McCullough and to this union four children were born. She was a housewife and worked along with her husband on their dairy farm. Fern loved working in the garden, cooking, sewing, music and teaching her grandchildren to enjoy life. She was of the Baptist faith.
Fern is survived by her three sons: Alan McCullough and wife LaDeena of Berryville, Lloyd McCullough and wife Debra of Viola, MO., Irvin McCullough and wife Connie of Viola, one daughter, Laveta and husband James Sherwood of Viola, 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clay McCullough, one grandson, two great-grandsons, two brothers and one sister.
Celebration Of Life Services were Monday, June 20, 2011 at McCullough Church with Pastor Keith Butler officiating. Interment followed at McCullough Cemetery. Services by Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, AR.
