Creeldee "Dee" Coats, age 94, passed away March 15, 2007. She was born January 26, 1913, in Tillamook, Oregon, to Albert and Fannie Johnson.

Dee was a homemaker and beloved wife, mom and grandma. She loved to entertain and was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors, whistling, sewing, dancing and spending time with her family. She was a past President of the American Legion Post 14 Auxillary, as well as the Vancouver Cancer Society and the Hazel Dell School PTA, all in Vancouver, Washington.

Survivors include son, Ken Coats of Battle Ground, Washington; daughter, Chris Anderson; grandchildren, Casey and Angie Coats, and Nicole and Kari Anderson; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Coats, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Erdin Johnson; brother Hoyt and sister Alberta, and her Beloved Husband Gene.

A memorial service was held March 26, 2007, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington. Donations may be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House or Vancouver Relay For Life, both in Vancouver, Washington. Donation information can be found at: http://CreeldeeCoats.spaces.live.com.
