She died at the age of 51 in a suspicious manor. She was my great aunt and I wish I could have met her, after hearing my Grandmother Minnie talk about her sister.

She was born Emily Frances Treasure, December 5, 1902, at marsh Valley, near Downey. She was the daughter of John and Martha Ann Bloxham Treasure. She came to Garfield near Rigby as a small child and received her education there.

She married Alvin Ball April 1, 1925, they were later divorced. She was married to Harry Benham August 1, 1927, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Dee C Benham, with the US Air Force at Clayburg, Pa.; a daughter, Patricia Benham, Idaho Falls; her mother, Martha Ann Treasure of Rigby; brothers and sisters, Fred and Don Treasure, Garfield; Lue Treasure of Lorenzo; Minnie Lee of Milo; Mary Parish of Rigby. She is proceeded in death by two sisters Ellen and Adelia.

Emily was active in the LDS Church, having served as a teacher in the Sunday School, Primary, YWMIA, and as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society.

She was buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
