NaDyne Mize
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, June 23, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland for NaDyne N. Mize of Eugene, who died June 21 of age-related causes. She was 92. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. July 9 at College Crest Wesleyan Church in Eugene
She was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Pendleton to Herman and Seatta Smith Newton. She married Herman Mize on Dec. 1, 1945, in Portland. He died Oct. 12, 1981.
She graduated from Pendleton High School in 1935. She worked as a secretary for schools, the state police and the departments of the Navy and Army Air Corps.
Survivors include four sons, Robert of Pendleton, John of Springfield and Paul and Samuel, both of Eugene; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A son, Herman Mize, died previously.
Arrangements by Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 922 in Pendleton.
