Mary R. Billinger, 79, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

She was born July 14, 1931, in Logan County, to William and Gladys Marie Couch Blau.

A resident of Scott City since 1995, Mrs. Billinger was retired from the medical supply manufacturing field.

On Dec. 22, 1969, she married Clarence A. Billinger in Littleton, Colo. He died Jan. 17, 1978, in Anaheim, Calif. She also was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Rodney, Orville, Bill and Jim; and two sisters, Ruby and Dorothy.

Survivors include a son, Timothy Blau of Pauma Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Kimberly Billinger of Scott City; three sisters, Della Heinitz of Leoti, Maxine Peterson of Scott City, and Betty Elder of Tribune; a grandson; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service was at Community Christian Church in Scott City. Inurnment was at Leoti Cemetery in Leoti.
