Everette B. Skinnell
WIRTZ - Everette Buren Skinnell, 81, departed this life Feb. 4, 1985 in a Roanoke hospital.
He was a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church and was with the U.S. Postal Service for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, Annie P. Skinnell, Wirtz; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra S. Davis, Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Melanie S. Yeatts, Lynchburg; one son-in-law, Wayne Yeatts, Lynchburg; two grandsons, Bill Davis and Michael Otey; one granddaughter, Melissa Otey; and four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Perdue and Mrs. Addie Oyler, both of Roanoke, Mrs. Bessie Warren of Panama City, Fla., and Mrs. Virginia Edwards, Rocky Mount.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Lynch Chapel by the Rev. Olin Glidden and the Rev. Charles Doyle. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home in Rocky Mount after 2 p.m. Tuesday where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
