Linus Baer was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired Farmer and also worked at Leed Selling Tools Corporation in Ireland.
He is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township and Charter Member Ireland Conservation Club.
Served on the advisory Board at Northwood Retirement Community and also held several office and served on the Church Council at St. John Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Linus Baer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (May 7, 2008) in St. John's Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery in Boone Township. The Rev. Katie Gallagher will officiate. V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper will conduct Military Grave Side Rites.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2008) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township or to the American Diabetes Association.
