Glen Via, son of Mr and Mrs A H Via, died at his home at Indian Mills, this county, this morning, of typhoid fever. He was taken sick last Sunday, May [sic] 9th, and lingered only a few days till death released him. He was 20 years of age and highly respected by all who knew him.
He leaves in addition to a host of friends, a father, mother, three sisters and two brothers, Mrs D W B Skaggs, of this city, Misses Kate and Ruth and John and George Via. He will be missed by his many friends.
The funeral services will be conducted by Rev Henry Dillon, of Indian Mills, and interment will take place at the Indian Mills cemetery, at that place.
