Mrs James E Harvey died at her home near Mandeville, this county on Tuesday, after an illness of a couple of years, and from a complication of ailments.
Mrs Harvey underwent an operation at one of the Baltimore hospitals a couple of years ago, which brought her but temporary relief. Since that time she has been in poor health and for the past few weeks, had been very ill.
She was about 55 years of age and leaves three daughters and two sons. Her daughters are Mrs L E Bonham and Mrs Emma Clark, of Princeton; and Miss Lucille, of Mandeville. Her sons are Henry and Charles, who reside at the home place.
The remains were buried at Indian Mills today, there being quite a large number present at the funeral and burial.
The deceased was the widow of James E Harvey, former county road engineer. The family moved to Hinton some eight years ago from Mercer Salt Works and at the expiration of his term, they again returned to that section.
Mr Harvey died in Hinton almost three years ago.
The deceased was a lady much beloved and of Christian character and leaves many friends in that section and elsewhere, where she was known.
