William "Bill" DiMattia or Mattia was born in South Philadelphia on 21 Aug 1904. He was son of Rocco DiMattia and Mary Madeline Belsanti. He was one of 17 children. He married Mary L. Peidl. He was buried on 12 March 1999. The James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home in Ridley Twp., Morton, Pennsylvania took care of the arrangements. He was Dear Brother of Joseph and Helen DiMattia. He was great dancer and was Barber in Collingdale, Pennsylvania.
