Benjamin Cilley, died Saturday at his home on Horicon avenue, after a long illness of a complication of dis-eases. He was born in the town of Bolton July 20, 1846, and lived there until about twelve years ago, when he removed to this place. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having entered the Union army as soon as his age would permit and serving until the end of the war. His name was on the membership roll of Charette post, G. A. R., fifteen years. Mr. Cilley married Miss Nancy Langworthy, of Warrensburgh, in 1866. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary September 9, 1916. He is survived by his widow, one brother, Fremont Cilley of Bolton and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Pratt, of Warrensburgh. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. S. R. Brown officiating. Interment in the village cemetery.
