One of Oldest Men In Franklin Co. Dead
Head of Large Family; All Of Whom Age Living
Mr. F. M. Quire, 76 years old, one of the oldest residents of this county passed away at his home at Pleasant Ridge at 9 o'clock Sunday morning a week's illness of pneumonia. Mr. Quire served during the Civil War and was one of best known citizens in this county. He is survived by his wife, who is critically ill with pneumonia, four sons and four daughters, Mr. A. L. , Theodore, Buell and Elbert Quire and Mrs. Lena Pulliam, Mrs. May Forthing, Mrs. Rachel Thurman and Mrs. Lula Ellis, all of this county, forty grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren, all of whom are living. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2'clock at Pleasant Ridge Church.
