Lowell Leon Estes, 77, of Bedford, passed away on Aug. 2, 2003 in Bedford.
Born Nov. 3, 1925, in Stella, Nebraska, he was the son of William Bryan and Chloe (Wilkinson) Estes, and was one of ten children.
Lowell was a retired bus driver for St. Vincent de Paul School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by three children, and the family of Dale and Crystal Platteter, Brian, Amanda, Emily, and David.
One son, Emery Ray, preceded him in death.
The body will be cremated and a private memorial service will be conducted at Patton Hill Cemetery at a later date.
