Mr. Pike was born the son of the late Albert E. and the late Ida (Siler) Pike.
Mr. Pike was a member of Staley Baptist church where he served as an Adult Sunday school teacher and a deacon and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by three daughters: Helen P. Guthrie of Staley, Margie P. Jordan and husband, Buster of Staley, Carol P. Wrenn and husband, Delbert of Siler City; three sisters: Eula Beane of Siler City, Elizabeth Hudson of Guilford College, Anna Belle Cheek of Asheboro; daughter-in-law, Jo Short Pike of Siler City; grandchildren, Don Pike, Glenda Burton and husband, Eddie, Myra Martin and husband, Billy, Lisa Thompson and husband, Phil, Dacia Quate and husband, Tim, Kevin Wrenn; great-grandchildren, Jason Burton, Justin Burton, Chris Martin, Angela Martin, Austin Quate, Andrew Quate and Claire Thompson.
