The funeral of James Hickey took place here yesterday from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thos. Long. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery north of his city and was largely attended. The Catholic Knights of which he was a member, also attending in a body.
The deceased attained the age of 87 years and up to some time ago enjoyed excellent health. His death took place at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc on Monday. Mr. Hickey was a man who stood in high esteem with all who knew him, being of a kindly disposition and tolerant toward all.
