Obituary for Lawrence G. Anderson
Lapel-Lawrence G. Anderson, 90, Rt. 3, Anderson, Lapel High School's oldest-living graduate died this morning in Riverside Hospital, Noblesville, after a lengthy illness. The Madison County native graduated from Lapel High School in 1911 and attended Marion Normal College in Marion. He retired in 1962 from Delco Remy after 39 years. He was a past master of the Lapel Masonic Lodge No. 625, Lapel Order of Eastern Star, Anderson Commandery, Order of White Shrine, Order of the Amaranth, Anderson Chapter 52 of Royal Arch Masons, Anderson Council 69 Royal and Select Masons and York Cross of Honor. He was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, Anderson.

Survivors include one son, living Anderson of Noblesville; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Lillian) Roudebush of Lapel and Alberta Anderson of Anderson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home, Lapel, with the Rev. Maurice Ankrom officiating. Burial will be at Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Masonic services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
