"Mrs. T. J. Kelsey died suddenly about six o'clock yesterday evening at her home near Fountain Grove, according to word received here today by friends. She had returned to the house from the barn where she had been helping Mr. Kelsey when she suffered a heart attack. Mrs. Kelsey is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Wescott of near Hale; three sons, Roy of the home, Hubert of Fountain Grove and Harry of New Orleans, Louisiana. Funeral arrangements have not been completed until word is received from the son in New Orleans. Mrs. Kelsey was about sixty years old." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, January 4, 1929
