The funeral of Thomas W. Richey was attended at the M.E. church in Palo Sunday a.m. He died of diphtheria, contracted while taking care of a patient in the neighborhood last January. His daughter had it afterwards and has not been able to attend the funeral service until now. Mr. R. was a member and ruling elder in the Presbyterian church in Palo. Rev. D.A. Jewell preached the sermon.
