DUNDEE - Harry E. Reed, 81, of Dundee died at 5:35 a.m. Monday at Arbor Hospice Residence, Ann Arbor.
No visitation or services have been planned Cremation has taken place, under the direction of Cover Funeral Home.
Born May 28, 1921, in Ypsilanti, he was the son of Fred and Nellie (Stafford) Reed. His first wife was Vivian. He later married Ann O'Mara and later, Karen Ernst.
He was the former owner of Milan's Campfire Restaurant in the 1950s and '60s and Campfire Pizza of Dundee and Blissfield.
An avid sportsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Dundee Lodge, Loyal Order of the Moose. He had lived in Dundee since 1953.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel of Erie and Chad of Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Ken (Janice) Schultz of Milan, Mrs. Doug (Faye) Brown of Tecumseh and Mrs. Gil (Patricia) Novak of Milan; a brother, Lloyd of Ypsilanti; a half-brother, Herbert Granger; three half-sisters, Mildred Gustafson, Dorothy Jajuga and Olptha Granger; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Clifford Granger. Memorials may be made to Arbor Hospice.
