Word has been received here of the death of Cecil Best in Los Angeles, Calif. He passed away Tuesday, April 9. He had been ill for a number of months and had been in California for the past three months. The entire community extend their heartfelt sympathy to the family in their bereavement. Mrs. Best was the former Dorothy McDonald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. McDonald of Bridges Switch. Besides his wife, a daughter, Beverly, survives him, and his parents and a number of brothers and sisters.
