TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. - Master Sgt. David E. Sutton, 36, of Twentynine Palms, formerly of Girard, died at 3:43 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, Calif.
Mr. Sutton was born May 22, 1970 in Carlinville, the son on Gary E. and Glenda M. (Bilbruck) Sutton. He married Nancy Espineli on October 17, 1991, in Carlsbad, Calif.; she survives.
Master Sgt. Sutton was a member of the Marine Corps for 18½ years. He was a graduate of Girard High School class of 1988 and received a bachelor's degree from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by his father, Gary E. Sutton; grandfather, James W. Bilbruck; and aunt, Judy A. Sutton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Girard. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Girard. Burial will be at the Girard Cemetery. Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home in Girard in charge of arrangements.
