Margaret's death date of 15 June is incorrect on this tombstone according to the death certificate for a "Tilda Brooks", who is most surely Margaret. Informant was Ben Brooks. The death occurred in District 1 of Loudon where Margaret and family lived, and only one day different than death date of tombstone. There is only one Ben Brooks in Loudon (son of Margaret and T.L. Brooks).
Age of 71 on death certificate is incorrect; she would have been about 65.

Margaret's middle name has always been thought to be Ann, however her marriage record to Thomas is as Margaret M., and the death certificate used the name "Tilda". This new evidence suggests her middle name is Matilda or possibly Matilda Ann. If her middle name was Matilda this would explain the use of the name Tilda (a common nickname for Matilda) on her death certificate.
