Harold B. keech, 72, of the Town and Country Mobile Home Park, Nashua Street, died Saturday at a Nashua Hospital.
He was born in Thorndike, Maine, Feb. 4, 1911, a son of the late Fred W. and Alice A. (Barnes) Keech. He had been a resident of Milford for more thean 50 years.
Mr. Keech was a former employee of the French and Heald Furniture Company and, later of the Sprague and Carlton Furniture Company in Milford, where he worked as a shipper.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Keech had been employed for 10 years at the Hitchiner Manufacturing Company as a machinist. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milford.
Mr. Keech had been active for many years in local bands, including the Old Laurel Band, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Band in Nashua and the Townsend, Mass and Ayer, Mass bands.
Survivors include his wife Anna M. (Lund) Keech of Milford; a daughter, Patricia A. Nichols of Milford; a son, Roger P. Keech of Naperville, Ill,; six grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews.
The Smith and Heald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
